Job Title: Technical Designer – Retail & F&B

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Technical Designer with strong AutoCAD skills and experience in retail and F&B projects. The ideal candidate will have a meticulous eye for detail, a passion for translating design concepts into precise technical drawings, and the ability to collaborate with designers, project managers, and suppliers to deliver projects efficiently and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
* Produce detailed technical drawings for retail and F&B projects, including plans, elevations, sections, and joinery details.
* Translate conceptual and interior design ideas into accurate, build-ready technical documentation.
* Collaborate closely with designers, project managers, and other technical teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility of designs.
* Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and consultants on technical requirements.
* Maintain drawing standards, ensure consistency, and update documentation throughout project lifecycles.
* Assist in resolving technical issues during design development and project delivery.
* Support the preparation of schedules, specifications, and construction documents as needed.
Requirements:
* Proficient in AutoCAD (essential).
* Experience working on retail and F&B projects.
* Strong technical knowledge of construction, joinery, and materials used in interior fit-out projects.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
* Strong communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external partners.
Desirable:
* Previous experience coordinating with suppliers and contractors.
* Understanding of UK building regulations and health & safety standards.
