We seek a Workplace Coordinator who embodies a cheerful demeanour and can create a welcoming first impression for Softcat. A Workplace Coordinator is a cultural ‘ambassador' who lives and promotes Softcat values every day. Empowering Teams, Enhancing Workspaces: Your Go-To for Seamless Office Operations.
The Workplace Coordinator is responsible for the smooth running of the office, being the first point of contact for all workplace matters. You will be required to handle incoming calls, facilitate a busy diary of internal meeting room bookings and company vehicle bookings, as well as, arranging collection and distribution of mail and ad hoc courier requests. Place the consumables orders and upkeep/stock take of the branch.
As a Workplace Coordinator, you'll be responsible for:
* Collaborating with internal teams and external providers to support facilities operations and meet business needs, while building strong relationships with employees and stakeholders.
* Overseeing building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical, ensuring they are operational and maintained to best practice standards.
* Managing contractors on-site, delivers planned preventative maintenance, and handles ad-hoc requests and office inspections.
* Maintaining compliance with health and safety procedures, including fire safety, signage, and ensuring adequate coverage for first aid and manual handling.
* Supporting the delivery of engaging, employee-focused events in partnership with various departments and workplace teams.

* Ability to communicate effectively through Microsoft Office suite
* Highly organised and resourceful
* Good oral and written communication skills
* Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications.
