As Lead CAD / CAM Programmer you will: - Supervise a team of two other programmers - Create programmes using Edge Cam software for all manufactured part numbers. - Review all part drawings to ensure production has the correct tooling for the optimum manufacturing processes. - Support all engineers and apprentices who operate the machining cells, with any of their day-to-day machining issues. - Drive continuous improvement projects to improve machining efficiencies and overall productivity. - Support New Product Introduction (NPI) projects with the wider Engineering Team. - Support running of machining cells in times of absence and critical machining jobs as well as carry out CNC machine training for new and less experienced team members - E ...
