About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic construction team, specialising in NHS-related projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex construction projects within the UK healthcare sector. This role requires a hands-on approach with frequent site visits to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and oversee construction projects from inception to completion, specifically within the NHS sector.
Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety regulations and organisational policies.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and project delivery.
Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and schedules using project management software.
Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions where necessary.
Produce regular reports on project performance, risks, and milestones.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Project Manager within the UK construction industry, specifically on NHS or healthcare projects.
Proven experience managing multiple projects and teams effectively.
Relevant construction licenses and up-to-date certifications, including Health & Safety, CSCS, or equivalent.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
Strong knowledge of UK construction regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Willingness to travel and be present on-site as required.
Desirable
Experience with sustainable or modular construction methods.
Familiarity with BIM processes and digital construction tools.
