Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Carers/Support Workers to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing assistance and support to individuals in need, helping them achieve greater independence and improve their quality of life. This position requires a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Responsibilities
* Provide personal care and support to individuals, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
* Support individuals in accessing community resources and participating in social activities.
* Assist with medication management and ensure adherence to prescribed treatment plans.
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the individual's condition to the appropriate professionals.
* Foster a supportive and encouraging environment that promotes independence and dignity.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and other stakeholders to develop and implement personalised care plans.
* Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
* Empathy and patience when dealing with challenging situations or behaviours.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
* Basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to care provision is desirable.
* Previous experience in a support or care role is an advantage but not essential; training will be provided.
* Training in Care Certificate, Level 2 and 3 in Health & Social Care will be provided.
