 
        
        Supply Chain and Logistics Manager
Starting salary: GBP40000 to GBP50000
Role And Responsibilities
 * Conduct consistent review of outstanding POs to ensure production and customer demand is maintained
 * Ensure all production requirements are met and customer delivery achieved OTIF
 * Review vendor performance and manage relationships to achieve maximum stock turn and quality accuracy
 * Liaise with internal staff to manage min/max settings and vendors
 * Ensure stock condition and layout is maximised to ensure quality pick/pack and delivery
 * Liaise with other engineers to develop and implement systems and processes that improve overall production operations: utilising LEAN practices
 * Maintain zero lost time status and ensure working practices are followed within the area and team
 * Train, mentor, and supervise staff to ensure adherence to SOPs and maximum output efficiency
 * Set department objectives and KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance of direct reports
 * Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members
Knowledge, Skills And Experience
 * Ability to provide delivery process control to situations
 * Hands on, foot forward thinker with genuine desire to grow the role and department
 * Strong knowledge of LEAN manufacturing processes and quality control principles
 * Proven track record of implementing continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational efficiencies
 * Excellent leadership skills with the ability to lead, motivate and inspire a team
 * Strong engineering knowledge and understanding – with a hands‑on approach
 * Proficient in analysis of data, identifying trends, and making data‑driven decisions
 * Courage to challenge and speak up when faced with resistance
