We’re looking for a sporty, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the NP16 area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a lively environment and wants to make a real impact on pupils’ learning and wellbeing.
Experience isn’t essential — just the right attitude, willingness to learn and confidence to get involved.

About the Role:
* Support pupils in the classroom and during active learning sessions
* Work 1:1 with pupils when required, including those with ALN/SEN
* Use your sporty, energetic approach to help pupils stay engaged and motivated
* Assist the class teacher with daily tasks and small group activities
* Promote positive behaviour and help pupils regulate during challenging moments
* Be a proactive, reliable and hands-on member of staff

Ideal Candidate:
* Active, enthusiastic and enjoys being on their feet
* Strong behaviour management or willingness to develop it
* Great communication and relationship-building skills
* Patient, supportive and confident working 1:1
* Open to learning, upskilling and completing CPD through Teaching Personnel
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
