Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Acting as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing their housing-related queries, concerns, and requests.
2. Providing guidance to individuals seeking housing assistance, conducting needs assessments to determine eligibility for available programs.
3. Coordinating property inspections and maintenance activities, promptly addressing any issues to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
4. Working closely with local authorities and partner agencies to identify suitable housing options for individuals and families in need.
5. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of tenant information, including applications, leases, and correspondence.
6. Generating regular reports on housing occupancy, trends, and relevant issues, providing updates to the management team.
7. Assisting in the collection of rent and managing arrears, implementing appropriate strategies for resolution.
8. Working with financial support programs to help tenants access available resources for housing-related expenses.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in housing coordination, property management, or a related field.
* Knowledge of UK housing laws, regulations, and government housing programs.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
* Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
* Proficient in using relevant computer software and databases.
