Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, they will programme, set up and run precision milling operations on Haas or Fanuc control mills, transforming raw components into finished parts. This position is ideal for a fully skilled miller who thrives on independent responsibility and takes pride in delivering consistently accurate results. Key Responsibilities Write, test and optimise G-code programmes for Haas or Fanuc CNC milling machines. Set up machines, select appropriate tooling and fixturing, and load raw materials. Conduct trial runs, measure finished components with micrometres, calipers and gauges, and adjust programmes to achieve tight tolerances. Monitor production runs for quality, efficiency and safety, intervening to resolve issues or recommend improvements. Maintain comprehensive job sheets, tooling records and machine logs.
