As a Community Education Coordinator, you’ll lead the delivery of inclusive and engaging learning opportunities that help people build skills and confidence to respond to life’s challenges. Working closely with volunteers, community partners, and targeted groups, you’ll coordinate and deliver sessions supporting resilience, wellbeing, and connection. You’ll manage relationships, support funded projects, and ensure all educational activities meet national quality standards. This role blends creativity, collaboration, and leadership to make a real difference—helping communities feel more supported, empowered, and prepared through education.
What will a day in the life of a Community Education Coordinator involve?
1. Connecting with local organizations to build strong partnerships.
2. Delivering engaging education sessions to adults and young people.
3. Supporting volunteers to grow their skills and confidence.
4. Using feedback to shape and improve learning experiences.
5. Managing resources and logistics to keep operations smooth.
6. Helping communities become more resilient through inclusive learning.
What will you need to be a successful Community Education Coordinator?
* Experience in planning, delivering, and evaluating learning activities.
* Experience working with marginalized or vulnerable groups.
* Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
* Confidence in managing volunteers and supporting their development.
* Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
* Ability to build relationships with diverse communities and partners.
* A recognized qualification in education, training, or facilitation (or equivalent experience).
* A commitment to inclusion, compassion, and empowerment.
