Pole Star Products Ltd – Bardney, Lincoln

£27,768 – £29,848 per year

Full-time, Permanent (Mon–Fri, 9:00am–5:30pm)

Pole Star Products is a growing supplier of air-conditioning, refrigeration, and heating spare parts, supporting engineers and businesses across the UK with fast, reliable service.

We are looking for a capable and motivated individual to join our small, busy team in a key sales support role. This position is central to the day‑to‑day running of the business and would suit someone who enjoys working at pace, taking ownership, and being relied upon.


The role

This is not a purely administrative position. You will be responsible for managing customer enquiries, processing orders, maintaining product information, and supporting sales activity across the business.

You will need to be organised, responsive, and confident dealing with customers, while also maintaining a high level of accuracy.


Key responsibilities

* Handling incoming enquiries from engineers and customers via phone and email
* Processing sales orders accurately and efficiently
* Supporting customers in identifying and sourcing the correct parts
* Preparing and following up quotations
* Converting enquiries into sales where possible
* Taking and processing customer payments
* Maintaining accurate product and pricing data
* Adding new products and updating listings across internal systems and website
* Ensuring all enquiries are handled promptly and professionally
* Supporting the smooth day‑to‑day running of a busy office


What we’re looking for

* Strong customer service skills with a confident telephone manner
* Clear and professional communication (written and verbal)
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to work at pace and manage a varied workload
* Self‑motivated with a proactive, “get things done” approach
* Comfortable taking ownership and responsibility for your work
* A practical, problem‑solving mindset
* Full UK driving licence (due to location)
* Experience in a sales, customer service, or office‑based role
* Experience working with technical products, parts, or trade customers
* Experience updating product data or working with e‑commerce systems
