Our award-winning SaaS client, which offers local authority management software utilizing digital technology, behavioural insights, and data science to build trust, drive efficiencies, and maximize revenue, is seeking a Data Scientist to join their growing team.
You will oversee their new product delivery, leveraging your experience to meet timelines and advance your career into management if desired.
The Data Scientist will work within the Insight Services team, leading AI/ML and Data Science product development and research, supporting their multi-award-winning AI product portfolio.
The Data Scientist will:
* Undertake data collection, processing, and analysis.
* Build models to solve business problems.
* Design, code, test, deploy, and support AI products in cloud infrastructure for end-users.
* Provide Level 3 application support to the Customer Success team.
Approximately 80% of the role involves new AI product development and enhancement, with 20% dedicated to Level 3 support activities.
Essential knowledge:
* Proficiency in writing valid and efficient SQL queries.
* Experience in software application development within a product environment.
* At least 2 years' experience in R with RStudio/Posit (mandatory).
* Experience in model development and API coding.
* Development experience in RDBMS environments like MySQL or SQL Server.
