About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and passionate Apprentice Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an interest in learning Greek cuisine, be creative and inquisitive with the ability to take direction and work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will work closely with our team, soaking up as much knowledge as possible to ensure the highest quality of food and service is delivered to our guests.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the team in daily kitchen operations and food preparation.
* Learn to appreciate the flavours of Greek cuisine.
* Have the ability to take direction from senior members of the team, maintaining a collaborative and high-energy work environment.
* Ensure all food preparation is of the highest standards of quality and presentation.
* Maintain a clean, organised and safe working space in compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Minimise waste to optimise kitchen efficiency.
* Ensure open communication with your team.
About You
* 1st or 2nd year apprentice chef with a willingness to learn
* Interested in developing your culinary skills and experience.
* A passion for great food and learning new skills and techniques.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
* The ability to follow instructions and take direction.
* Food Handler’s Certification or equivalent is required.
