Main duties of the job
We are seeking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to work as part of our friendly team at Salisbury District Hospital, providing catering services to patients, staff, and visitors. The post involves delivering and collecting food trolleys to ward areas, serving meals, cleaning, operating dishwashers, and assisting with basic food preparation as required for the day.
Other duties include working in the kitchen and wash-up area and carrying out general cleaning duties to maintain hygiene standards. You should also have the ability to work flexible hours to cover colleagues during annual leave or sickness if needed.

* Achieved or willing to achieve relevant qualifications
* 6 months of experience preferred
