Job Description
Internal Job. This vacancy is only available to Torfaen County Borough Council (TCBC), SRS employees and agency workers currently engaged with TCBC.
This is a six-month internal secondment opportunity for someone keen to build experience in digital change and user adoption. The role sits within the Implementation, Adoption & Skills team, supporting digital initiatives across Blaenau Gwent, Monmouthshire and Torfaen.
We’re looking for a friendly, people-focused Digital Adoption & Skills Officer who enjoys helping colleagues navigate change with confidence. You’ll work directly with staff to support the use of new digital and AI tools, helping to build capability, increase confidence, and embed new ways of working so that change delivers real, measurable benefits.
A key part of the role will be supporting our AI Programme. You’ll collaborate with digital, service and leadership colleagues to introduce AI tools in a way that is safe, practical and user-focused, ensuring colleagues understand not just how to use them, but where they add value to their day-to-day work.
