We support clients throughout their entire lifetime. The Real Estate team have decades of experience and can advise on every Real Estate related query..

Based in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Dundee, North Berwick, Lincoln, and London we focus on ensuring we provide the highest level of advice and on-going service to our clients. We are ambitious and have significantly grown the team over the course of the last year. We pride ourselves in looking after our clients personally and providing the upmost standard of service.

This role will be held in our Glasgow office.


Our Team

We are looking to hire a highly driven Legal Secretary to join one of our successful Real Estate in Glasgow.

We are an enthusiastic team that support each other in order to achieve a great working environment. We value each other’s expertise and opinion and pride ourselves in offering an inclusive, enjoyable, and motivating place to work.

This role could also be a great fit for someone with a law degree who’s taking a year out or exploring their next career steps.


The Role

We are looking to further strengthen our current team with the appointment of an experienced candidate.

As a Legal Secretary at Gilson Gray you’ll be responsible for:

* Liaising with internal and external clients by email, telephone and face to face.
* Opening and closing client files.
* Carrying out client identity checks.
* Preparing and amending documents.
* Dictation and audio typing.
* Assisting with general administrative duties.
* Diary management.


Required Knowledge and Experience

* Previous experience in a property or administration role is preferred.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and work deadlines.
* Good written and oral communication skills
* You will have the ability to develop strong working relationships within the team as well as communicate concisely both verbally and in writing both internal and external clients
* A calm, helpful and professional approach
* IT competent, particularly with reference to the use of Word and Excel
