Romac Logistics are currently recruiting for a Fleet and Compliance Administrator to join our team. The position can be based at Middleton.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 06:00 – 14:00
Salary: Up to £28,000
Based: Middleton
Responsibilities
* To maintain accurate records of all maintenance, inspections, defects, and repairs carried out to the fleet and maintain all relevant legal documentation.
* Ensure VMUs (Vehicle Maintenance Unit) are communicated with regularly to keep fleet repair times to a minimum and assist the Transport Department(s) in maximising fleet availability.
* Complete administrative tasks and reports as requested.
* Inputting of fleet related documents onto spreadsheets and web-based programmes.
* Filing of all fleet related legal & compliance documentation.
* Auditing of fleet internal documentation and external documentation.
* Administrative tasks regarding Insurance / Accidents / Complaints.
* Completing daily reports and communicating accordingly.
* Complete small projects; identify / communicate results.
* Downloading of fleet data from site vehicles.
* Account for all vehicle related defects including rectification.
* Recording all warranty repair work effected by manufacturers to ensure that the full-service history is maintained for all hire fleet.
Skills and Experience
* Experience working in a similar environment.
* Excellent communication skills verbally and in writing.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Proficient with MS Office, e.g., Excel & Word.
* Ideally have a good mechanical background (desirable, not essential).
