We are working with a well established company within the field of mental health. With over 8000 employees and 90 services across the UK, there services ensure people lead good and meaningful lives daily whilst offering enhanced support in a robust and structured setting. You will be providing care for women with severe and enduing mental illness and/or personality disorder, and would be expected to design and deliver specialist trauma informed treatment & care.
Essential:
* Doctoral qualification (or equivalent) in applied psychology
* Registration with the HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist and Charterable status with the British Psychological Society.
* Experience working with individuals with complex needs relevant to the service population - Particularly with a trauma informed approach.
* Competence in assessing, formulating, and working therapeutically with service users with mental illness and/or personality disorder.
* Knowledge and practical application of specialised psychological therapies, formulation models, and appropriate clinical and risk assessment processes.
Job Responsibilities:
* Deliver therapeutic interventions for service users with complex presentations, undertaking comprehensive psychological assessments using structured psychometric and semi-structured clinical methods.
* Develop and implement specialist psychological formulations and treatment plans based on a multi-factorial understanding of service users’ needs and current evidence-based practice.
* Contribute actively to multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings, care planning, and clinical reviews.
* Support the development of psychology services and contribute to new clinical initiatives using an evidence-based approach.
* Promote innovative and effective approaches to managing complex cases and support service development across the organisation.
* Contribute to the professional development of the psychology team and wider staff group.
* Participate in audit, evaluation, and research activities as directed by the Lead Psychologist.
* Maintain high standards of clinical practice in line with HCPC Standards of Proficiency, HCPC Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics, the BPS Code of Ethics and Conduct, and organisational policies.
* Support the development and delivery of training programmes for multidisciplinary staff.
* Provide clinical supervision to Assistant Psychologists as directed by the Lead Psychologist.
