About The Role
Transport Supervisor:
As a Transport Supervisor you will be accountable for the day to day running of the transport department, working closely with the management team to ensure that expectations and KPIs are met and exceeded. You will be responsible for the safe operation and upkeep of all driver equipment, maintaining high standards of health and safety, ensuring an excellent customer experience is always provided and all scheduling and administration. The overall goal for all AAH employees is to assist in delivering an efficient, safe and vital healthcare service to our customers.
39hrs per week.
Monday - 10.30am-18.30pm
Tuesday - 9.30am-18.30pm
Wednesday -9.30am-18.30pm
Thursday -9.30am-18.30pm
Friday -9.30am-18.30pm
As part of the management team at AAH there, would also be an expectation to directly support our out of hours on call rota.

As our Transport supervisor, you will have a busy and active role:
* Lead and coach your team to ensure productivity and KPI’s are being achieved
* Plan and manage designated resource to undertake the day to day work to achieve service levels and key branch performance targets within employment costs
* Ensure the safe operation and upkeep of all transport equipment and maintain high standards of health and safety, cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of the branch
* Ensure the operation adheres to Standard Operating Procedures within the branch to ensure compliance with statutory requirements of all regulatory bodies, GDP, MHRA and to retain the branch ISO quality accreditation
* Make decisions which positively affect all aspects of branch performance that are aligned with our values
* Ensure an excellent customer experience is provided at all times
About You
* About You
* Previous experience within a Transport supervisory role
* Previous experience leading and managing a team
* Confident leader and can inspire and motivate a team of drivers
* Strong commercial acumen and be able to work to a budget
* Great English verbal and written communication skills
* Strong understanding of Microsoft Office
* Fleet maintenance
* Crisis management skills
Desirable skills
* Team Leader
* IOSH qualified
* Route planning/ route management
* Mechanical experience
* operators licence
* Experience in temperature controlled distribution
* ISO Guidelines
* Using TMS systems and tracking GPS systems
