We are currently working in partnership with a Charitable Housing Association based in Bristol, who are recruiting for a Support Worker on a temporary 3-month contract. The position is due to start immediately, with the potential to go full time. The hourly rate of pay can pay up to £18.00 umbrella for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will have a background supporting clients who have complex needs and have an understanding within supported housing. Duties will include (but are not limited to): Working with and supporting clients who have repeatedly been homeless and have substance misuse needs Helping clients to achieve independent living and support themselves as much as possible Carrying out support plans and risk assessments Liaising with external agencies on a regulalr basis Signposting clients to relevant third party Helping with tenancy management related requirements such as ASB, sign ups, property inspections Carrying out one to one and group sessions Experience required: Experience required in supported housing Complex needs background DBS within the past 12 months or update service Working hours: 35 hours per week Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
