Conduct Inspections: Identify potential issues through thorough vehicle inspections and recommend necessary repairs. Diagnose and Repair: Tackle vehicle challenges, including engine, transmission, electrical, and HVAC systems. Use Diagnostic Tools: Leverage your expertise with diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately assess and resolve vehicle issues. Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of all services and repairs performed, ensuring accuracy and accountability. Communicate with the Team: Liaise effectively with the Press Management team to explain vehicle issues and present repair options. Support Off-Site Activities: Provide technical and vehicle support for off-site Press and Marketing events. Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques through ongoing training. Administrative Tasks: Complete necessary filing and paperwork efficiently. Ensure Safety: Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols.What We're Looking For: Qualifications: A national technical qualification or vocational training in automotive repair and maintenance. Experience: Proven experience as an automotive technician with a strong knowledge of automotive systems and components. Technical Skills: Ability to use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment unsupervised. Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail. Communication: Strong communication skills to engage effectively with team members and customers. Team Player: Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
