Management Accountant

Up to £55,000 (depending on experience)
We're working with a growing and ambitious business based in Liverpool City Centre to recruit a Management Accountant. This is a great opportunity for a confident, hands-on finance professional who's looking to take on a key role within a high-performing team.
Whether you're qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE, the business is open to experience-first candidates who bring strong technical knowledge and a commercial mindset. This role offers excellent exposure to senior leadership and a clear pathway for progression.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Preparing monthly management accounts, with variance analysis and insightful commentary
* Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process
* Business partnering with operational teams to provide financial insights
* Managing balance sheet reconciliations and control accounts
* Assisting in year-end audit preparation and statutory reporting
* Driving continuous improvement in processes, controls, and reporting systems
What We're Looking For:
* A qualified accountant(ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE with strong relevant experience
* Demonstrable success in producing accurate and timely management accounts
* Strong analytical skillswith excellent attention to detail
* A confident communicator with the ability to engage across departments
* Advanced Excel skills and experience with finance systems (system improvement experience is a bonus)
