On offer is a great opportunity to take on a crucial role within the finance function of a well-established pharmaceutical manufacturing business, as they continue their upward trajectory of growth. The global finance business partner will play a key role in partnering with the manufacturing operations of the business working closely with multiple international sites MD’s, and the COO of the business.The role will be responsible for the preparation of budgets and forecasts, preparing monthly management accounts and presenting this information to senior stakeholders in the business. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth of the business through project-based work aiding in strategic decision making.Responsibilities:
* Responsible for providing strategic financial guidance and ensuring operational and financial excellence across global manufacturing activities
* Budgeting and forecasting for all manufacturing activities across the Group including presenting budget and forecasts to C-Suite management
* Preparation and analysis of management accounts with executive-level commentary to review performance to both budget and prior year as well as presenting this information to senior stakeholders within the business including the COO
* Lead ROI analysis for capital expenditure requests and monitoring the ongoing spend of each project
* Responsible for the reporting of key business metrics and use such metrics to drive a culture of continuous process improvement
* Provide value added insight using financial modelling in scenario planning to report the impact that variables have on production scheduling, delivery timing and costs, monitor KPIs and provide executive-level commentary to explain business drivers
* Responsible for managing two direct reports, including training and development of the team, monitoring the quantity and quality of the work in progress, coaching employees on performance
Job Requirements:
* Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ICAS)
* More than 5 years of experience in FP&A and business partnering, ideally within a multinational manufacturing environment
* Advanced skills in Excel and financial modelling; Power BI and PowerQuery knowledge is advantageous
* Demonstrated ability to drive profitability and influence manufacturing P&L performance
* Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders internationally, ability to challenge and influence teams and senior leadership
* Strong analytical, judgement and problem-solving skills
