Painter / Finisher
Our prestigious, manufacturing client within the Marine and Luxury Yacht industry, are currently seeking a Painter / Finisher to join their team.
This is a full time, permanent position, based in Wroxham.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Qualifications
* Good working knowledge of painting and varnishing procedures.
* Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations.
* Experience working with wood including wood repairs
* Working in a team when doing large scale jobs, spraying yacht interiors, sanding, and antifouling hulls, working independently on smaller tasks such as varnishing joinery components
* Attention to detail in all areas, having a keen eye, right-first-time approach and ensuring work passes rigorous quality control inspections.
* Experience in spraying paint/varnish on cabinetry kitchens, bathrooms, furniture (ideally 5+ years, time-served)
* Wide experience in French Polishing techniques
* Smart repair experience desirable but not essential.
* Marine experience desirable but not essential.
As the Painter / Finisher you will be working to a high standard hand finishing cabinetry in excellent working conditions.
