Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Finance Technician to support our finance operations on a 4-day workweek. The role involves processing invoices, maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end closing procedures. Strong communication skills, proficiency in accounting software, and a basic understanding of accounting principles are essential. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop a career in accounting within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Working within a busy accounts and finance team
2. Bank and digital wallet reconciliations
3. Managing sales and purchase ledgers
4. Processing supplier payments
5. Credit control duties
6. Completing all month-end duties
7. Handling invoice queries
8. Performing other ad hoc duties as required
Essential Qualifications & Experience
* At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
* An accounting qualification (e.g., MIATI or similar)
* Ability to prioritize workload
* Excellent communication skills
* Proficiency in IT, especially Microsoft Excel
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Proactive, results-oriented, and passionate about the role
