What You Will Be Doing
As an Associate Director, you’ll be at the helm of within our major flood risk management business, working closely with our environment, water, geotechnical, structural and marine teams. You will be responsible for business growth, project leadership, managing technical excellence, operational delivery, and client satisfaction. You’ll also play a critical role in mentoring teams, shaping business development strategy, and contributing to the leadership of our business. Your background is ideally in large scale infrastructure delivery in a consulting role. Your role will include:
* Represent Ayesa engineering in a professional manner.
* Lead Delivery of High-Profile Projects across Ireland.
* Oversee Full Project Lifecycle—planning, budgeting, compliance, and delivery.
* Manage and Mentor Multidisciplinary Teams of Engineers and Consultants.
* Act as Primary Client Interface, building and maintaining key relationships.
* Drive Business Development through Market Engagement and Tender Submissions and identification of new market opportunities.
* Ensure Projects Comply with Design Standards, Legislation, and ultimately Client Requirements.
* Guide Innovation, Best Practice, and Strategic Growth across our water portfolio.
* Champion Quality, Risk Management, and Safety in All Aspects of Delivery.
* Support our UK teams and clients in their growth phase.
* Management of projects in compliance with Ayesa engineering's Integrated Management System (IMS).
What You Bring
* Honours Degree (Level 8 minimum, Level 9 preferred) in Civil Engineering.
* 10+ years post‑grad experience (including 8+ in large scale infrastructure projects. Ideal candidates will have flood risk management experience in Ireland, but we recognise and encourage candidate with alternative experience and skills.
* Proven track record in delivering multi‑discipline complex projects from feasibility to handover.
Skills & Strengths
* Deep knowledge of infrastructure delivery, such as in flood management, drainage, roads and water infrastructure design.
* Familiarity with Irish planning requirements legislation, and design codes.
* Ability to manage complex, high‑value projects across multidisciplinary teams, in particular environmental delivery.
* Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
* Thorough understanding of Quality and Integrated Management Systems
