Interim Management Accountant
1. Location: Tiverton (4 days on-site, 1 day WFH)
2. Rate: Up to £250 per day
3. Contract: ASAP start - January 2027
An established and growing manufacturing organisation based in Tiverton is seeking an experienced Interim Management Accountant to provide key finance supportduring an extended period of cover.
This is a hands-on role within a busy finance team, offering the opportunity to make an immediate impact in a fast-paced operational environment.
The RoleReporting into the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:
4. Production of monthly management accounts
5. Variance analysis and commentary for senior stakeholders
6. Balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining strong financial controls
7. Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
8. Assisting with year-end and audit preparation
9. Business partnering with operational teams across the site
10. Supporting ongoing improvements in reporting and processes
Requirements
11. Proven experience in a Management Accountant / similar role
12. Strong understanding of month-end processes
13. Experience within manufacturing or similar environments (highly desirable)
14. Confident with Excel and financial systems
15. Able to work independently and hit the ground running
16. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders
