Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and high‑quality Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4. Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress through a variety of assessment methods. Use a range of teaching strategies and digital tools to support student learning and progress. Contribute to departmental planning, curriculum development, and whole‑school initiatives. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support academic and personal growth. Engage in ongoing CPD and reflective practice to enhance teaching skills and subject knowledge. Skills and Qualifications: A relevant degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. Previous experience teaching Maths at secondary level is desirable (ECTs welcome). Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks. Excellent communication, organisation, and behaviour‑management skills. Ability to adapt teaching approaches to support students of varying abilities.
