About Us
The Salvation Army Bridge Services provides holistic, evidence-based support to individuals experiencing challenges related to alcohol and other drugs. Our residential and community programmes focus on reducing harm and supporting long-term wellbeing.

About the Role
Based in our Addington residential service, you’ll play a key role in supporting individuals through their recovery journey by delivering integrated, person-centred care.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Providing holistic case management for people experiencing addiction and mental health challenges
2. Facilitating engaging and therapeutic group sessions
3. Working within The Salvation Army Bridge Programme Model of Treatment
4. Supporting safe and effective service delivery through policies and procedures
5. Participating in rostered on-call duty management
What we’re looking for
You’re someone who brings both professional expertise and genuine empathy to your work.
To be successful, you’ll have:
6. A degree in Social Work or Addiction Counselling
7. DAPAANZ registration (or working towards it)
8. Strong communication skills—both written and verbal
9. A solid understanding of working across cultures
10. A commitment to ongoing professional development
11. The ability to work collaboratively while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism

Hours of work: This is a permanent full-time role of 40 hours per week.
Salary: $68,037 – $102,000 per annum
