Job Title: Fund/Manager Research Analyst - Hedge Funds & Asset Managers Location: London About the Role We are seeking to speak with highly analytical and intellectually curious individuals to join a London based FOHF. This role is focused on identifying, evaluating, and monitoring hedge funds and traditional asset managers across a range of strategies and geographies. You will play a key role in shaping portfolio construction decisions and delivering high-quality insights to internal stakeholders and clients. Key Responsibilities: Conduct in-depth qualitative and quantitative research on hedge funds and asset managers, including due diligence, performance attribution, and risk analysis. Maintain and expand a coverage universe of managers across various asset classes (e.g., equity long/short, macro, credit, multi-strategy). Prepare detailed investment memos and present findings to the investment committee and senior leadership. Monitor existing manager relationships, including regular updates, performance reviews, and operational assessments. Collaborate with portfolio managers, risk teams, and client-facing teams to support investment decisions and client reporting. Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory developments, and macroeconomic factors impacting manager performance and strategy viability. Qualifications: 3-7 years of experience in fund research, manager selection, or investment analysis, ideally with a focus on hedge funds. Strong understanding of investment strategies, fund structures, and performance metrics. Excellent analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel, Bloomberg, Morningstar, or similar tools; familiarity with Python or SQL is a plus. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
