EYFS Lead

E‑ACT The Grange School is a primary academy in Daventry committed to broadening horizons and opening hearts, minds, and opportunities for every child.


Key responsibilities

* Evaluating pupils' progress, achievement and attainment, and reporting to the Senior Leadership Team/Head Teacher
* Moderating with the EYFS team, evaluating and considering next steps from the data including baseline data
* Being responsible to the Head for coordinating the work of the EYFS, supporting and advising as appropriate
* Establishing good relationships, encouraging good working practices, and supporting, leading and coaching teachers in the EYFS.
* Monitoring progress across the EYFS and ensuring appropriate action plans are in place.


Pay range

* M1 – UPS3 – £32,916.00 – £51,048.00
* Plus TLR 2A – £3,527.00
* Full time, Permanent


Qualifications and Skills

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) statutory framework.
* Evidence of continuous professional development related to Early Years or leadership.
* Excellent knowledge of child development and early learning pedagogy.
* Creative, reflective, and committed to delivering an ambitious and inclusive EYFS environment.
* A passion for nurturing children’s curiosity, independence, and love of learning.
