The Customer Field Services team are a key part of how we plan to meet the changing expectations of customers and regulators. Join our team as Operational Programme and Performance Manager, where you'll lead capital projects and support a team of Project Managers to ensure full compliance with our governance standards. You'll also be the go-to person for day-to-day operations of the Wastewater Services Agreement, working closely with our Service Partner to drive performance and deliver key benefits from our Drive to Thrive plan. Where you fit in: As our Operational Programme & Performance Manager you will: Liaise with Yorkshire Water and Service Partner colleagues to resolve customer-impacting issues requiring partner support. Lead delivery of capital schemes (£50£60m annually) as Programme/Senior Project Manager, ensuring governance compliance and accurate reporting. Ensure all Health & Safety and mandatory training is up to date for full compliance. Support and develop team members through regular guidance and Performance Snapshots. Review programme and project data with Project Managers to ensure accuracy and reliable forecasting. Collaborate with the Finance Business Partner to ensure correct cost allocation. Engage with internal stakeholders to discuss programme delivery and adapt to business needs. Conduct site audits to ensure safe working practices and provide visible leadership. Lead capital schemes (£50£60m annually) as Programme/Senior Project Manager, ensuring governance compliance and accurate reporting. Represent Customer Field Services at governance forums (e.g. Asset Programme Board, Investment Committee). Act as key contact for day-to-day Wastewater Services Agreement operations, ensuring excellent customer service and cost management. Coach and support a team of eight, including Project Managers, Technical Assistants, and Support Technicians. Champion high health and safety standards, resolving outstanding actions and representing the team at SHEQ forums. Drive delivery of benefits outlined in the Drive to Thrive plan through effective WwSA management. Serve as the CFS expert in project management and governance, offering support across the department as needed. What skills & qualifications you will need: Project or Programme Management qualification (e.g. APM, MSP) or proven experience in a similar role. Experience working with contract partners and using KPIs to drive performance. Proficient in SAP, with the ability to extract and interpret data for decision-making. Strong communication skills, able to convey complex information to senior stakeholders clearly and confidently. Proven ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. High levels of drive, energy, and determination to deliver outstanding results for Yorkshire Water. Confident in challenging and questioning to ensure programme success. Skilled in problem-solving and resolving programme-related issues. Comfortable working independently and taking initiative.
