Our client, a leading water sector specialist are looking for an Electrical Supervisor in the West Midlands. This is a permanent role, candidates must have a UK Driving Licence and full RTW in the UK, sponsorship cannot be offered. This role is working within the water sector, on clean and waste water sites. Ideally candidates will have previous water sector experience. However candidates with relevant heavy industrial/plant experience may be considered. Job Outline • Oversee day-to-day site operations including task allocation, staff coordination, time management, tooling, and site documentation. • Act as the on-site lead, representing the Project Manager/Engineer and ensuring smooth project delivery in their absence. • Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, visitor tours, and ensure contractors are issued with the required permits and safety documentation. • Liaise with clients, provide daily progress updates, and escalate issues promptly. • Support planning and design input through site surveys and attendance at technical meetings. • Lead installation, maintenance and inspection activities in accordance with technical drawings, standards and procedures. • Monitor team performance and provide feedback on efficiencies, training needs and site-specific issues. • Ensure only competent and trained personnel carry out site tasks. • Work to achieve agreed timelines, quality standards and project profitability through strong resource and overtime management. • Attend management meetings as required. • Implement and maintain compliance with Health, Safety, Environment and Quality standards across all site activities. • Ensure risk assessments, method statements and all required documentation are communicated, understood and adhered to by site personnel and contractors. • Carry out regular inspections to reinforce safe systems of work and strong safety behaviours. • Report and document all incidents, near misses and hazards promptly. • Promote environmentally responsible practices, including effective material use, waste management and minimisation of site impacts. • Maintain high personal safety standards and ensure all team members follow operational safety procedures.
