About the role:
The Luxury Innovation & Brand Change team is part of the newly formed Diageo Luxury Group, focusing on developing Diageo’s rarest and most prestigious packs.
The specific role of the Luxury Project Manager is to successfully deliver projects from concept to commercialization within the Luxury product portfolio.
Role Responsibilities:
The individual will operate in a complex, demanding environment, engaging with stakeholders including Diageo Luxury Group, Global Brand Teams, Innovation Teams, Markets, D&T, Planning, Regulatory, Quality, Procurement, Make, Move, Finance, Suppliers, and design agencies.
The Luxury Project Manager's role is to deliver Luxury Innovation that meets the high expectations of our most demanding customers and consumers.
Top Accountabilities:
* Serve as the main point of contact for the customer to scope and deliver projects.
* Lead the cross-functional supply team to deliver projects aligned with customer expectations, measured against time, cost, and quality, following the Gate process.
* Report on performance and progress.
* Build strong relationships across stakeholder groups.
* Support the development of new and improved ways of working.
Experience / Skills Required:
* Ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects as part of a high-performing team supporting Diageo’s ambitions.
* Degree or equivalent experience, ideally in a technical area.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills to develop strong working relationships.
* Strong project management skills with knowledge of packaging materials and processes, including design, development, handling, transportation, artwork management, and risk practices.
* Ability to develop a sound understanding of Luxury products and packaging.
* Enthusiasm for transforming ways of working and processes.
* Understanding of the Planview system and stage-gate process.
* Excellent organizational, reporting, and presentation skills.
