Requirements
* Active ARRT certification and Nuclear Medicine License
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in SPECT within the modality
About Your Role
As a Travel SPECT Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging using Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography (SPECT) technology. Collaborating with physicians and clinical teams, you will ensure precise imaging, prioritize patient safety, and contribute to effective care delivery across various healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals specific to SPECT imaging procedures.
* Operate SPECT and hybrid imaging systems to acquire accurate, high-resolution images.
* Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning throughout the imaging process.
* Evaluate image quality to ensure completeness and clinical relevance.
* Collaborate with radiologists and physicians for accurate and timely diagnoses.
* Adhere to radiation safety standards and maintain regulatory compliance.
* Perform routine quality assurance and preventive maintenance on SPECT imaging equipment.
