Role Overview: In this role, you will support planned, preventative and reactive environmental health and safety activities within a pharmaceutical environment, helping to ensure compliance with legislation, policies and best practices. You will have the aptitude and desire to undertake a 4-year apprenticeship and develop a strong understanding of workplace health, safety and environmental management. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Follow / adhere to Kindeva’s Health and Safety and Environmental Policy Work within a Regulatory working environment. Assist in developing, reviewing, and updating EHS policies, procedures, and risk assessments. Support incident and near-miss investigations, including data collection and reporting. Participate in workplace inspections and audits, identifying hazards and improvement opportunities. Help deliver EHS training sessions, toolbox talks, and safety inductions. Monitor waste management, recycling, and energy-saving initiatives. Maintain accurate EHS records and documentation. Contribute to sustainability and wellbeing campaigns across the organisation. Skills & Experience: GCSE or equivalent; a minimum of 3 including Maths & English at grade 5 or above is essential. GCSE or equivalent in an engineering or technical subject desirable. Key Capabilities: Good organisational, interpersonal, and time management skills. Enthusiastic, flexible, conscientious and proactive in approach. To work efficiently with supervision. Take a positive approach to own training and development. Good communication skills. Strong team player. Training to be provided: L3 Diploma in Safety, Health & Environmental Technician.
