Staff development is a priority, and in this role you will be supported in working towards chartered or incorporated status through the ICE or IStructE. Your Profile : You should be a civil or structural engineer with a minimum of four years’ experience in the design of steel and reinforced concrete structures. This experience should ideally have been gained within a consulting engineering practice or a contractors’ design office. Familiarity with AutoCAD is desirable, and you will need to be confident using recognised design and analysis software. A degree in civil or structural engineering is required. The position involves regular contact with clients, sub consultants and external stakeholders, so strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships are essential.
