Job Description
As the fabrication supervisor you will be tasked with the following;
3. Supervise and coordinate fabrication activities to ensure production schedules are met.
4. Develop the Machine Shop and Fabrication department.
5. Monitor team performance and provide training to maintain high-quality standards.
6. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the fabrication area.
7. Collaborate with the engineering team to optimise processes and improve efficiency.
8. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards.
9. Maintain accurate records of production activities and materials used.
10. Identify and resolve any fabrication issues in a timely manner.
11. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
The Successful Applicant
A successful fabrication Supervisor should have:
12. Proven experience in a supervisory role within fabrication or manufacturing.
13. Strong technical knowledge of industrial fabrication processes and equipment.
14. Understanding of health and safety regulations in an engineering environment.
15. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
