Our client, located in Farnham, Surrey, is seeking an IT Assistant for a permanent, full-time position with hybrid and flexible working options.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Monitoring the internal IT helpdesk and responding to queries promptly.
2. Overseeing the use of software (e.g., Microsoft) and hardware (e.g., printers), seeking improvements.
3. Training and assisting with IT inductions for new employees.
4. Communicating with third-party suppliers.
5. Ordering and setting up new and replacement IT equipment.
6. Updating technology and tools to ensure accessibility of the latest products, documents, and software, and communicating changes to staff.
7. Occasional travel to other office locations may be required.
About You:
* Relevant work experience is preferred but not essential.
* Minimum of 3 A-levels at grades A to C (or equivalent).
* A university degree with a 2:1 or above is desirable but not mandatory.
* Strong aptitude for IT and quick learner of new technologies.
* Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks.
* Effective prioritization skills and flexibility.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* Self-motivated and resilient.
* Team player with the ability to work independently.
* Positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow.
