Working for the region's premium Hotel & Country Inn group, you will be tasked with working alongside the group Exec chef to support the talented kitchens throughout the region, covering holidays, occasional shortages, and events. This is a very rewarding position for the right forward-thinking head chef.
Our clients are offering a fantastic package for the right chef:
1. A superb salary of £32,000 plus mileage from the central office near York
2. The opportunity to develop the varied venues menus and kitchen cultures alongside the Exec chef
3. A loyalty scheme payable every 6 months
4. The opportunity to work in some of the region's finest kitchens, cooking up to a 2 rosette level.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
1. A proven fresh food led background, ideally to a Rosette standard, be it Gastro, Restaurant or Hotel
2. Established sous chef with a proven management history
3. A desire to innovate & create, and be excited by local seasonal products
4. A sound understanding of kitchen management
5. Being mobile is a must due to location and nature of the position, no company car included.
