Job Introduction: As a MSO Security Officer at Holyhead, you will play a critical role in maintaining a secure, safe, and positive environment for all employees, visitors, and clients. This position requires a dependable individual who can remain alert, enforce site protocols, and respond effectively to various situations.
Responsibilities include:
* Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, ensuring customers are consistently informed throughout the process.
* Provide assistance to clients, contractors, and visitors, ensuring all site procedures and policies are adhered to.
* Liaise closely with statutory authorities, dealing with incidents and providing information to support.
* Continuous monitoring of site radio systems, adhering to the correct procedures.
* Maintaining site records such as reference materials, incident forms, and site occurrence book.
* Develop excellent working relationships with our on-site client.
Requirements:
* A valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) Licence – essential for this role.
* A strong sense of responsibility and integrity, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and approachable manner.
* Good observational awareness and attention to detail.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative when needed.
* Basic IT skills and confidence using security systems, radios, or reporting tools.
