About Our Client

Job Description
3. Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
4. Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations.
5. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
6. Analyse financial data and provide insights to improve business performance.
7. Oversee VAT returns and other statutory reporting requirements.
8. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial records are maintained.
9. Support the external audit process by providing necessary documentation and analysis.
10. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency within the finance team.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim Financial Accountant should have:
11. A recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or ACA).
12. Proven experience in financial accounting within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
13. Strong understanding of UK accounting standards and regulations.
14. Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
