QA Automation Engineer
South West | Hybrid | Up to £45,000 per annum + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
Our client, a well-established and respected market leader in their industry, is seeking to hire an Automation Tester on a permanent basis within their team. The right candidate will have experience in designing, developing and maintaining automated test frameworks, with a focus on reducing manual testing, improving and integrating automation tests in to the Pipelines for rapid and reliable releases.
Key responsibilities:
1. Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks
2. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality assurance
3. Collaborate with developers, QA analyst and product teams to define test strategies
4. Analyse test results, identify defects and work with teams to resolve issues
5. Ensure scalability and maintainability of automated solutions
6. Contribute to improving overall testing processes and standards
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
7. Proficient in automation tools such as Playwright (preferred), Cypress or equivalent
8. Strong experience with TypeScript (preferred) or JavaScript
9. Familiarity with Azure DevOps or equivalent ticket management tools
10. Experience with CI/CD integration on any platform
11. API testing experience
12. Ideally knowledge of C#, SQL (Server), Linuxs environments
13. Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
14. Certifications such as ISTQB or equivalent
