Our client, operating within the rail sector, is currently seeking a Building Surveyor (STE05) for a 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension. This role is crucial for ensuring the safety and maintenance of various buildings and structures within the rail network. Key Responsibilities: Perform surveys and inspections on a variety of building and structure types. Lead and conduct various surveys, ensuring compliance with Network Rail standards and relevant legislation. Accurately assess the condition of buildings and structures, identifying defects and recommending appropriate remedial actions. Complete possession work and produce high-quality condition assessment reports, ensuring accurate data entry into Citadel and other relevant reporting systems. Input survey information accurately and promptly to meet contract Key Performance Indicators. Report any immediate or significant defects to the Operations team. Adhere to safe working practices and comply with Key Processes and Safety Responsibility Statements. Job Requirements: Experience in building surveying, inspections, or asset management within rail or civil engineering sectors. Qualified to STE05 competency.
