Your new role
The provides advanced technical expertise in the design, integration, operation, and support of telemetry-basedmunication technologies.
Responsibilities
1. Have a good working knowledge of both legacy dial-up and current IP-basedmunication technologies.
2. Be responsible for providing a level of technical support to themunications technologies in your area, both at an operational asset and data centre perspective.
3. Be responsible for ensuring that the implementation of all new and existing technologies meets the design requirements.
4. To be responsible for the underlyingms technologies and data centre infrastructure that underpin the monitoring and control of operational assets via Regional Telemetry.
5. Provide high-level technical expertise and specialist knowledge for allms technologies and supporting infrastructure.
6. Ensure security updates and system patches are maintained for allmunications solutions under your responsibility.
7. Provide reports on usage and availability for allms solutions under your responsibility.
What you'll need to succeed
8. Proven experience of actively supporting dial-up and IP-basedms solutions.
9. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
10. Sound grasp of network fundamentals.
11. Strong stakeholder management andmunication skills and a proven track record of working with businesses.
