About the role
This position is part of a £ million Wellcome Trust Discovery Award (GRACE-Epi), which explores the relationship between arts and cultural engagement and healthy ageing using epidemiological methods on a global scale. The post-holder will support this work through managing, cleaning, and harmonising datasets, and undertaking longitudinal and causal data analyses.
Application Details:
1. This is a fixed term contract with external funding until 1st March in the first instance.
2. Appointment at Grade 7 is dependent upon having been awarded a PhD; if this is not the case, initial appointment will be at Grade 6B (£39, - £41, per annum) with payment at Grade 7 (£45, - £52, per annum) being backdated to the date of final submission of the PhD thesis with no corrections. Salaries are inclusive of London Allowance.

About you
You should hold a PhD in statistics, medical statistics, epidemiology, quantitative social science or other relevant discipline, and be a highly motivated individual with experience in analysing cohort data using advanced longitudinal and causal statistical methods. You should also have excellent oral and written communication, and excellent ability to work to deadline.
