Job Description
My Four Wheels is one of the most trusted and fastest-growing driving schools in the UK, with 200 driving instructors currently on the road and hundreds more in training who will soon be hitting the roads. Due to COVID-19, there is a record number of learner drivers needing instruction, resulting in increased demand. Over the past 12 months, our driving instructors' hourly rates have increased by an average of £3. Additionally, over 70% of our instructors have waiting lists, some up to 6 months long. This is a great time to consider becoming a driving instructor.
Are you reliable, punctual, patient, and possess good customer service skills? Do you enjoy working with new people? If so, this could be the right career for you. We have recruited individuals from various industries, including:
* Driving industry (HGV driver, delivery driver, van driver, LGV driver, bus driver)
* Finance industry (finance manager, accountant, analyst, supervisor, director)
* IT industry (support, cybersecurity, web design, engineering, development)
* Health industry (care assistant, care manager, medical staff)
* Education industry (teacher, teaching assistant, admin, lecturer)
Full training is provided, conducted locally whenever possible. Our pass rates are well above the industry average, and we refund all training fees when you work with us.
To qualify as a Driving Instructor, you must:
1. Have held a full UK driving licence (or approved foreign licence) for at least 2.5 years
2. Not have been banned from driving in the last 4 years
3. Have no more than 6 points on your licence
