Teacher of Chemistry (Full-Time)

Location: Blackburn, Lancashire
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and committed Teacher of Chemistry to join a successful and supportive science department at a large secondary school in Blackburn.
We are seeking a talented practitioner who can deliver high-quality Chemistry lessons across the secondary age range. The post is full-time and fixed-term, running from April 2026 to July 2026.
The successful candidate will:
Be a qualified teacher of Chemistry (QTS or equivalent)
Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education
Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that inspire and challenge students
Demonstrate effective classroom management and high expectations of pupil achievement
Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated and supportive science team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
