There is an exciting opportunity to join Bellway, one of the UK’s largest house builders. Our East Midlands Division located in Leicestershire is looking to recruit a Home Exchange Manager to join the Division’s Sales team.
The Role
The role of Home Exchange Manager is to manage all Part Exchange/Express Mover sales activities in accordance with the procedures issued by Group Head Office as well as the budgets and requirements set by the Sales Director/Head of Sales. At the same time, the Home Exchange Manager will ensure that we provide the highest level of service to all of our customers.
Principal accountabilities
* Liaise between the customer facing sales team and the asset management companies to formulate and issue Part Exchange/Express Mover appraisals to assist with the possible sale of our customers’ existing home
* Make any part exchange offer from Bellway directly to our customers and manage the acquisition, marketing and sale of any properties bought as part exchange units
* Ensure that the divisional portfolio of any part exchange homes is managed effectively to maximise profit
* Take responsibility to ensure that any part exchange properties are regularly inspected in accordance with Group requirements and ensure that any such properties are maintained in good saleable condition until disposal
* Liaise with Group and Divisional accounts teams to make sure all financial liabilities and invoices are allocated and settled in a timely manner
* Provide additional sales support to the divisional sales team by actively engaging with the sales team to provide training and coaching on the Part Exchange/Express Mover Schemes
* Ensure compliance with company policies, processes and standards
Experience
Experience of Estate Agency and/or housebuilding industry would be desirable.
A thorough knowledge of the home buying/conveyancing process is essential.
Experience of delivering excellent customer service.
Qualifications and Training
No formal qualifications are necessary but evidence of relevant experience and skills will be required.
Skills and Aptitude
* Proficient IT skills along with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and the ability to adapt to new systems
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with a range of partner organisations and customers is essential
* Ability to meet and exceed target
* Ability to self‑manage, prioritise work, meet deadlines and handle several tasks simultaneously
