Overview
We are looking for talented Electrical Engineers with experience in instrumentation and controls to join our growing team. At Arup, you will contribute to exciting projects across the UK in the Energy, Water, and Resources sectors, supporting both the winning and delivery of work, collaborating with clients and partners to create innovative solutions, and ensuring high‑quality outcomes across design, timelines, and budgets. Senior candidates will have the opportunity to lead multidisciplinary teams, mentor colleagues, and shape technical excellence, while those earlier in their careers will gain hands‑on experience and build the foundations for future leadership.
Responsibilities
* Interpret and produce detailed design documentation.
* Familiarity with design software and tools (e.g., Trimble).
* Manage multidisciplinary projects in various sectors (Energy, Water, Resources) and maintain a detailed knowledge of CDM regulations.
* Produce and interpret complex design drawings and documentation.
* Possess specialist knowledge in at least one area of electrical and/or control systems engineering.
* Demonstrate appreciation and expertise in electrical and/or control systems engineering, particularly design.
* Ideally hold IEng or CEng professional registration status through IET, CIBSE, or another relevant body; degree qualified – likely a Master’s Engineering Degree or equivalent.
* Must hold an eligible UK driving licence; security clearance is advantageous.
